Welcome to the 2008 edition of the Mad City Open (MCO). This tournament is sanctioned by the Professional Disc Golf Association as a B Tier tour event and by The Wisconsin Disc Golf Tour, coupling each tour as a qualifier for other tournaments and awards. Our staff consists of Madison Area Disc Club Ltd. members and friends.

We volunteer our time to help promote flying disc sports and the businesses that choose to sponsor the event. It gives us that warm fuzzy feeling to see the players having so much fun.

 

Tournament Central for Saturday and Sunday will be at Shelter # 3, in Token Creek Park. The Saturday, August 2, 2008 portion of the event will include intermediate and recreational amateur divisions, including men, women, and juniors. Each division will play one round at Vallarta-Ast Disc Golf Course and one round at Hiestand Park Disc Golf Course. Professional and Advanced divisions play Saturday and Sunday which will include one round at Vallarta-Ast, at Hiestand Park and at Elver Park Disc Golf Courses. All divisions include separate competitions for open, women, master, and grandmaster age groups.
